Football injuries are responsible for multiple losses in terms of sports performance, but also leads to huge economical losses to football clubs (Eliakim E. Morgulev E. Lidor R. et al., 2020). In order to prevent such trouble, clubs have been reiforcing their facilities but specially their staff. Strength training is already recognized as one of the most important strategies in injury rehabilitation (Lauersen JB, et al., 2014). However, some of the questions may arise, such as: is all the exercise the same? "When to start?"; "how much is too much?"; "it is secure to start now?"; "should we use only passive alternatives?"; "Clinical diagnose is enough or should I also pay attention to functional criteria?" or "how can I understand if the athlete is effectively progressing?"; these are very important questions that any Sports Doctor, Sports Physiotherapy and/or Strength & Conditioning Coach should asks to himself.

The major goal of this seminar is trying to help these professionals to figure out and clear some of the questions previously mentioned. Although references acording to the present literature will be provided, the course will try to give specific suggestion in terms of the strength exercises but also, when should we apply them in a secure manner.

2. Understand the effects of detraining vs loading in the early stages of an injury;
3. Analyze the exercise biomechanics to adapt each session to the athlete’s need;
4. Being able to progress safely during muscle injuries (hamstrings, quadriceps, hip adductors), joint injuries (ankle & knee) and tendinopathies (achiles and patellar tendon)
5. Understand how can we maintain or increase that endurance capacity of the athlete;
6. Select what tests should be done primarily according to different injuries
7. Organize the rehabilitation program, using strength training as soon and as safe as possible
